Wir haben das Autorenpaar Sander Funnemann und Anne-Marie Meevis aus den Niederlanden eingeladen, um für Interessierte das Elektrische Leben des Waldes erlebbar zu machen. Bei perfektem Wetter war das öffentliche Interesse groß, die Teilnehmer kamen aus dem gesamten Westerwald, aus Köln und dem Sauerland. Sie ließen mehr und mehr den Alltag hinter sich und fanden zu innerer Ruhe, tiefer Stille und Entspannung. Das Buch Elekrtisches Ökosystem ist demnächst auch in Deutsch erhältlich und kann über uns bezogen werden.

Forest walk ‘Being with nature’ – 16 th of July 2023

Sunday 16 th of July 2023, a forest walk took place with researcher and author Sander Funneman and his wife Anne-Marie. In total, a group of 30 people gathered at the edge of the forest. This walk introduced a fascinating and unknown aspect of the forest: its electric life.

Sabine Bexte and Stephan Regnery, welcomed everyone on behalf of Palette Mensch and introduced the author. He wrote various books on the electric side of nature and who shared many magic stories during the walk, about the ways in which plants and trees use electricity.

Also regularly, during the first half of the 3 hour journey, exercises were offered which accommodated a process of leaving behind the material focus of city-life, to tune into the energetic reality of the forest.

Slowing down

To tune to the forest we slowed down to find the actual rhythm of the trees.

And then..,we slowed down some more until we finally walked with the speed of electricity in a tree.
